I was just wondering if anyone else has ever caught the CWS on ESPN? I saw some of the games a few months back, and they were extremely interesting. Seems like the sport is getting more popular on the major media outlets. What do you guys think?

Definitely caught all of the games and like you I'm COMPLETELY STOKED that the media is catching on to what we've known for years … this is a GREAT sport. What's even better is the knowledge that they onlyc are those things that have a market, and their carrying every game is obviously an indication that the market is out there and is growing. It's an exciting time for the sport that's for sure.

I was there as part of the press this year. It was the biggest crowd I have ever seen at the WCWS.
I will soon have a few episodes of the Fastpitch TV Show with footage from the WCWS.
If softball continues to grow do you think they will eventually show it on regular television?
Since we do not have cable the only time I got to watch it was when I was at a resturant that had it playing. I wish I could have seen more.

WOW. What a great idea. I guess I looked at ESPN and figured we had reached the top by having all of the games on the air. I never even considered the huge audience that doesn't have access to ESPN. That will be the next goal I guess, drive the audience to such a level that it some of the games end up aired on one of the big networks so that the entire country could see them.
