We rejoin Shonda Stanton at her clinic from SoftballCon as she teaches various drills and strategies on how to play fastpitch softball “small ball” and be successful. Shonda covers various aspects of the small ball game from sac bunts, slap hitting, squeeze as well as base hit bunts.
Shonda shares the importance aspect of any practice is having your kids hold each other accountable to perform the practices/drills accurately. The use of commands and language to your team are very important in order to be successful. Marshall college’s fastpitch softball team has been very successful with their small ball game and Shonda shares a lot of vital games strategies and how she makes them winners.
