This week I interview former Texas A&M University pitcher Amanda Scarborough. Amanda started playing softball when she was five in Houston on the Crickets. Amanda shares her thoughts on women coaching softball and the evolution of coaches throughout her career and the future.

Amanda started pitching when she was eight years old after her dad volunteered her to do so. She fell in love with the pitching and learning the skills necessary.

Amanda played for Texas A&M all four years there and loved the program as well as the school and the support the team received from the university. A standout moment in her career happened during a game her freshmen year in high school. Watch this interview for insight into this moment and more from Amanda Scarborough.
