Christie Ambrosia Trainer (Review)

Christie Ambrosia Pitching Trainer Ball

Christie Ambrosia Pitching Trainer Ball

The Christie Ambrosia pitching trainer ball is used mostly with pitchers that are new to pitching.  There are color coded strips, for right handed pitchers and left handed pitchers, for them to learn where to put their fingers on the ball.

This pitching tool comes with a booklet with how to use the ball and what color means what.  There is a little description on the ball but the book goes into more detail about what to do.

This tool is good for pitching coaches because they will not have to repeat themselves over and over about where the pitcher should put their fingers they can just direct the pitcher to a color.  This will make time in a lesson more efficient. When the pitcher can grip the ball then they can start working on the spin of the ball. This will take a while to perfect, but this is a good foundation for the pitcher to know.

This allows a pitcher to go home and learn on their own as well.  They do not need someone to tell them how to hold the ball.  They can self check on every pitch. They will have to learn how to spin the ball but this will give them a good foundation on how to hold the ball.

I like this ball because you can learn how to throw many pitches with just one ball.  Just wish they had it in 12 inch.

  • Softball Fan

I think this is for younger kids. After all it is an 11 inch ball.
