Rachel Folden Interviewed by Gary leland

Rachel Folden Interview – Produced By Gary Leland

A few weeks ago I was at an NPF game, and ran into the catcher from the Chicago Bandits. She was kind enough to take time and give me an interview.

Chicago Bandits catcher, Rachel Holden, takes some time to answer a few questions with her experience in the game of fastpitch softball. Rachel played baseball her whole life until the summer before high school and had always thought softball was a stupid sport, but ended up loving the sport and received a full scholarship to play in college. Her college experience was well appreciated and admits that it was tough at times. In High School she was given the opportunity to be a catcher and has yet to leave that position. Rachel grew up watching her brother play, as a catcher, and tried to mimic what he did as well as what she learned when she watched games in her free time. Rachel is from southern California so she felt right at home with the atmosphere we had in Texas and can't wait to come back for other games with her team!
