The Michele Smith Interview – Produced By Gary Leland

While at the WCWS, I met with Michele Smith. She agreed to give us an interview. This is the interview with softball legend Michele Smith.

Michele started playing softball when she was six years old with her older sister. Michele didn't begin pitching though until she went to high school. Michele Smith admits that she would have loved to be a mid infielder if she would have been right handed, but being left handed has given her the upper hand in a lot of situations especially facing some of the best batters in the world.

Michele was tough, but she was a big team player. She would stay after practice to assist in BP for her other teammates and help them the best way that she could to better the team as a whole.
