This drill helps increase forearm and wrist strength.

Cut a thick broom handle or a 1” thick dowel to about 2 feet in length. Drill a hole through the center of the dowel, and tie a rope through it. Attach a weight to the other end of the rope.

The pitcher is to hold the dowel with both hands in front of her with arms locked.

She rolls her wrists forward until she has wound up the rope and the weight has reached the dowel.
The pitcher then reverses the motion to unwind the rope until the rope reaches the ground again.

Adjust the weight as she gets stronger.
