This week is part two of a pitching clinic with coach Bill Hillhouse. If you haven't checked out part one of the clinic be sure to check it out! Coach Hillhouse begins this part of his clinic with explaining the difficulty of learning a rise ball. Many coaches teach different motions that a pitcher should take when giving different pitches. Coach Hillhouse explains that a pitcher should always have a constant pitching motion, but to adjust grip and release point by reference of the pitchers back leg.

All pitches (curve, screw, rise, drop, ect) with proper coaching, can have the exact same motions of a regular pitch with only few minor adjustments that Coach Hillhouse is an expert at explaining.
