Three Functions of a Softball Pitch with Charlie Dobbins
Produced By Gary Leland
In this episode of the Fastpitch Softball Chat Show, Coach Charlie Dobbins from William Peace University is here with advice on three specific functions in softball as a catcher.
Coach Dobbins asks young catchers what type of pitches do you receive and how do you present them to the umpire? Charlie believes there are three different pitches; Strikes, Balls, and Everything else. Its up to you as the athlete to frame up the pitch.
